Lance C. Jones
President / Ecologist
Lance C. Jones has more than 17 years of experience in environmental / natural resource consulting. He specializes in vegetation ecology and wetlands consulting — preliminary wetland determinations and delineations, Section 404 permitting support, and designing and implementing wetland mitigation projects.
Mr. Jones has completed threatened and endangered species investigations, tree surveys, environmental assessments for Texas Water Development Board and Rural Utilities grants, flora and fauna studies, biological evaluations, and stormwater studies. He has written Wildlife Management Plans and served as an Expert Witness.
He co-authored a book for identifying woody species in East Texas during winter months, has presented papers on the effects of fire on vegetation, and regularly presents wetlands consulting seminars to engineering firms that work with Jones & Ridenour, Inc.
